Linda attended college in Connecticut and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in 1993 graduating magna cum laude. She was the recipient of the University of New Haven Communication Award in 1993.
Linda has had a successful career as a realtor with Long and Foster, where she obtained the Chairman and President Club award in 2003 for sales over $5.6 million in her first year. She currently holds a Georgia Real Estate License. In addition to real estate, Linda worked as a professional businesswoman in various venues for over 35 years in Sales, Advertising, and Marketing. Her positions included: Account Manager for the Microwarehouse Catalog; Advertising and Promotions Manager for NEATO LLC; Director of Catering for the Holiday Inn; Assistant Staff Writer for the Sales Department at Bayer Pharmaceutical; Membership & Marketing Director for the Graduate Club; the Executive MBA Coordinator for the University of New Haven; and Town Manager for the Town of Denton, Maryland. She was the Co-owner of Firehouse Coffee in 2007.
Her lifelong passion is teaching health and wellness as an ACE certified personal trainer. She teaches Senior Toning classes, instructs for her church, and personal trains woman. She is a member of the dance team for the Savannah Bananas baseball team. Linda established the Pirelli Armstrong Aerobic Program 30 years ago and has been a part-time fitness instructor and trainer for most of her life. Linda also taught classes (water aerobics, strength and conditioning, Zumba and more) in the Caribbean. Linda’s hobbies include: fundraising, salsa dancing, working out, reading, playing piano (13 years classically trained), and participating in pageants where she was first runner up for the Ms. Senior America Georgia pageant. She also enjoys word games.
