Raymond Meyer

Master Consultant

Raymond Meyer brings over 35 years of Emergency Management experience to EM-Solutions and the private sector response community. He is an experienced Incident Commander serving as IC for the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Incident in the Gulf of Mexico, and numerous other incidents involving the Oil and Gas and Energy Transportation Company’s incidents.

He is an Emergency Manager who has responded across the United Stated, Canada and the Caribbean responding to natural disasters, oil spills, hazardous materials releases, fires, community sheltering events, national security planning, and pandemic planning/responses. Ray contributes specific experience in crisis management planning and training, oil spill, environmental and natural disaster response.

Ray also brings expertise in people leadership, personnel training, public relations, procurement safety and regulatory compliance. His strength is organizational development during actual crisis events Mr. Meyer’s Emergency Management career began in the U. S. Coast Guard where he retired as a Captain.

He has held Senior Positions within multiple Emergency Management companies where he developed business strategies and objectives that increase the overall value for his clients. He is an active member of the International Association of Emergency Managers and past member of ASTM F-20 Standards Committee for the development of Oil Spill Standard for oil spill response equipment and responder training. He has a dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
